Disturbed Get Doused With Water After Pyro Show Units Off Sprinkler System: Watch

Disturbed introduced fireplace and surprising rain with them to their present on the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion exterior of Houston, Texas, on Thursday evening (July twenty seventh). A pyro show through the set-closing “Contained in the Fireplace” set off the venue’s emergency sprinkler system, pouring water everywhere in the stage and the band.

“Properly, final evening in Houston was a primary,” tweeted frontman David Draiman the following day. “Our pyro set off the fireplace suppression system onstage on the finish of the set for a shock rain bathe onstage lol.” The band itself tweeted, “Houston, we’ve an issue! Thanks for enduring the Fireplace and Water with us! We’re Disturbed!”

Guitarist Dan Donegan supplied extra particulars by way of Instagram, revealing that among the band’s gear was ruined:

“Houston, we’ve an issue! Take a detailed look 👀. This was one other first in our profession! Actually burning the home down. Throughout our encore we fired off a lot pyro 🔥 that it set off the sprinkler system and rained down 💦💦 buckets 🪣 on prime of us for the complete finish of the present. This goes down as some of the memorable reveals for positive. Plus destroyed my in ears and 🎤 and probably different gear 🤦🏻‍♂️. What an evening!”

“Contained in the Fireplace” has been the set-closer on Disturbed’s North American summer time tour, so no songs had been missed due to the sprinkler incident. As a substitute, it made for a dramatic finish to the present.
